The Role

Due to continued growth, MCA Engineering is expanding its team to support a major 6+ month project at a mine site in North West Queensland. We are currently seeking experienced trade assistants and encourage applications from both local residents and DIDO candidates. The roster is 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off, day shift, with camp-style accommodation and all meals provided.

These roles will be working on a broad range of underground construction and services works, including pump stations and pumps, ventilation walls, pipe installation, and other associated underground infrastructure.

Selection Criteria:

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical including drug & alcohol testing.
• Underground mining experience
• Ability to work independently, without supervision, and also be part of a team
• Attention to detail and diligence for quality of work
• Proven ability to always adhere to safety procedures and maintain a safe, work environment
