About the role
We are seeking a reliable and responsible full-time, HR Delivery Driver to join our Townsville team working on a Monday to Friday roster commencing at 6am and finishing at 2pm. This role will require a self-motivated individual with strong organisational skills and the ability to work both independently and as a crucial part of the wider team, ensuring the delivery of goods to our customers in a timely and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities
Efficient and accurate multi-drop deliveries to our local customer base
Safely operate a company vehicle to deliver food products to customer locations
Checking of orders and invoices at time of delivery and raising any discrepancies
Assistance with dispatch and loading of vehicle, ensuring orders are packed and stacked in a safe manner to avoid injury and/or damage
Provide excellent customer service
To undertake all duties in a safe, responsible and courteous manner
Key Competencies, Skills and Qualifications
Current Queensland HR or MR drivers’ licence (essential)
Forklift Licence (preferable)
Previous merchandising experience is highly desirable
Experience in multi-drop deliveries preferred but not essential
Customer focused with an appreciation for being the ‘public face’ of the company
Good organisation, communication and time-management skills
Enthusiastic and reliable approach to work
Highly motivated and flexible, with a solid work ethic and positive, can-do attitude
Be able to work autonomously as well as in a team environment
Great attention to detail
Ability to solve problems and learn a broad range of products
Physically fit and able to undertake the duties of the role, including lifting/manual handling and repetitive entering/exiting of a vehicle
