With a consistent stream of ongoing projects, we are always on the lookout for highly motivated and experienced Building Services Engineers with expertise in electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic engineering to join our team.
As an Electrical Building Services Engineer at Marline, you will be responsible for providing design and engineering solutions for electrical building services on a range of projects across various sectors including health, retail, residential, education, commercial, aged care, and leisure. You will work closely with other engineers and designers, project managers, and clients to deliver high-quality outcomes.
We have permanent opportunities available with the following key responsibilities:
- Undertake detailed electrical design work.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets for a range of projects
- Prepare engineering reports, specifications, and drawings
- Liaise with clients, architects, builders, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide engineering advice
- Conduct site inspections and support the installation and commissioning of building services systems
- Provide technical support to project managers and other team members
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and guidelines.
To be successful in the role you will have;
- Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Demonstrated experience in building services engineering design and project delivery, preferably across a range of sectors
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems and design principles
- Experience with relevant design software such as AutoCAD, Revit
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work
- Knowledge of sustainable building design principles would be advantageous.
