Tools Warehouse are seeking a Full-Time Storeman/Merchandiser at our Rutherford store, who has a strong passion for warehousing & tools.
We are looking for an experienced Storeman that is committed to further developing their skills and knowledge, whilst providing an exceptional customer experience.
What will you be doing?
Based at our Rutherford Store, the key responsibilities of this Full Time position include but are not limited to:
- Maintain the overall presentation of the store through merchandising, storeman warehousing duties & general housekeeping
- Picking, Packing & Checking orders
- Loading & Unloading vehicles with Forklift
- Communication & co-operation with management, supervisors & employees
- Providing expert professional customer service
- Developing strong product knowledge to assist customers in making the best product choice
- Achieving and exceeding personal sales targets
- Supporting other team members as required to ensure business goals are met

To be successful in this role, you will possess some of the following qualities:
- Forklift License (Required)
- Previous experience in a retail environment is preferred but not essential
- Strong communication skills with the ability to genuinely connect with your customers
- An energetic and enthusiastic approach to all aspects of your job
- Competency in POS & WMS systems and Microsoft Office
- The ability to multi-task and prioritise your work effectively
- A strong attention to detail
- A real team player & naturally competitive
- Must be punctual, reliable, flexible, willing to learn and have a strong work ethic
