About the Role
As an experienced Residential Care Youth Worker, you will support young people who are facing complex life situations. You will provide them with a safe, stable, and nurturing environment, helping them develop the skills and resilience needed to lead healthy and productive lives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the young people in your care feel safe, supported, and valued
- Foster positive relationships with young people, their families, and the community
- Assist in the development of social, emotional, and life skills
- Support young people in making healthy choices and accessing appropriate healthcare
- Work collaboratively with a therapeutic care team to implement tailored care plans
- Maintain a clean, safe, and structured home environment
- Manage daily tasks, including written and verbal reports, case notes, and documentation as required
Mandatory Requirements:
- Relevant experience in Youth Work, Child Safety, or a related field
- Current Open Australian Driver’s Licence
- Minimum Certificate IV in Child, Youth, and Family Intervention or equivalent (or actively working towards, with the commitment to complete within 12 months of your employment start date)
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates (within 12 months)
- Availability for shift work including weekdays, weekends, and sleepovers as rostered
- Current Paid Blue Card
- Current Hope and Healing or willingness to obtain
- Ability to obtain LCS2 Check
- National Police Check (within 6 months)
