About the Opportunity
A great career opportunity has arisen for a Special Counsel or Senior Associate to join our national Employment, Safety & Migration team, based in Adelaide. In this new role, you’ll work as part of a team and benefit from ongoing mentorship, and the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues across our national team—offering exposure to a diverse range of matters and clients.
The role will see you working on a broad range of employment, discrimination, workers compensation and industrial relations matters across a diverse range of sectors. Our clients range from large private companies and multinationals to small businesses and individual executives. You’ll provide advisory support to these clients and advocate on their behalf in courts and industrial tribunals when disputes arise.
About You
You will ideally have:
- At least 6 years PAE in employment and industrial relations law, across both front and back-end matters, primarily representing employers.
- Demonstrated experience in litigation across a range of courts and tribunals, including the Fair Work Commission.
- Experience in Workers Compensation in the South Australian jurisdiction (highly desirable).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities facilitating strategic, commercial and tailored advice.
- A strong commitment to excellence in client service.
