Tasks & responsibilities

  • Coordinate the Internal Audit program & corrective & preventive action system
  • Assist in coordinating the Supplier development program.
  • Coordinate the Calibration System.
  • Drive continuous improvement through the company’s Internal Auditing and Corrective Action Systems.
  • Prepare annual and bimonthly audit schedules.
  • Perform system audits consistent with the Company’s Quality certification obligations.
  • Assist in auditing the Company’s processes, highlighting, and addressing high risk areas to achieve continuous improvement.
  • Monitor progress of audits and offer assistance and guidance to auditors where necessary.
  • Review audits performed by Internal Auditors for consistency and effectiveness.
  • Recommend changes to existing procedures and systems to ensure compliance with ISO9001 Quality and ISO14001 Environmental standards.
  • Update the Quality & Environmental to existing practices and procedures.
  • Monitor customer returns document and communicate to the customer.
  • Verify implementation of preventive action prior to closing out of concerns.
  • Analyse warranty data, highlight & report trends, provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Assist in coordinating the Company’s Supplier development program.
  • Review Company’s Supplier Manual, carry out system reviews for new and problem suppliers

Qualifications & experience

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Microsoft Word
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Previous experience in Manufacturing
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts
  • Degree or equivalent relevant experience 5 years +
  • Formal training in Quality
  • Minimum 2 years experience in related Quality field
  • Highly motivated, self-starting individual with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Engineering Degree highly regarded

Eligibility

  • Applicant must be willing to undergo a National Police Clearance
  • Applicants must be willing to undergo a Medical
  • Applicants must have an Australian Passport or be able to obtain one.
