About the Role

Are you an experienced bookkeeper ready to take the next step in your career? We’re seeking a Senior Bookkeeper to join our growing outsourced finance team and take ownership of a portfolio of prestigious clients.

This role is for a candidate who loves being a bookkeeper, attention to detail and being organised.

This role will be part-time – 3 to 4 days.

In this role, you will:

Lead end-to-end bookkeeping services and payroll management.

Partner closely with clients to enhance financial processes and deliver advisory support.

Mentor and guide junior team members to achieve excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Financial & Operational

Manage the end-to-end bookkeeping process for a diverse client portfolio.

Review and oversee bank reconciliations, AP/AR, and payroll compliance.

Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and quality data.

Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and client outcomes.

Client Relationship Management

Develop strong, trusted relationships with clients, ensuring a clear understanding of their needs and goals.

Partner with managers to deliver insights and solutions that create value.

Leadership & Team Development

Mentor and support junior bookkeepers, providing guidance and feedback.

Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.

Demonstrate professionalism, precision, and a commitment to excellence.

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for a confident, detail-oriented professional passionate about bookkeeping excellence.

Minimum 5 years’ bookkeeping experience, ideally in a client-facing or outsourced finance setting.

Strong knowledge of cloud accounting software (Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, or similar).

Excellent understanding of payroll and bookkeeping compliance requirements.

Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.

A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong client engagement skills.
