We’re looking for a proactive Materials and Stores Coordinator to join our team and support efficient operations across stores, logistics and production.

This role suits someone who thrives in a hands-on environment, takes pride in accuracy and organisation and is comfortable moving between stores and assembly tasks as needed.

About the Role

Reporting to the Materials Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth receipt, storage, movement, and control of raw materials, components, packing materials, and finished goods. You’ll also support the manufacturing team by preparing kits, supplying materials, and assisting with assembly activities during peak periods.

This is a varied role with plenty of autonomy and the opportunity to contribute across multiple areas of the business.

Key Responsibilities

Stores, Warehouse & Inventory

• Receive incoming goods accurately and in line with company procedures

• Maintain up to date inventory records in the business management system

• Store materials and finished products correctly to ensure integrity and traceability

• Identify and report potential stock shortages

• Quarantine and document non-conforming goods

• Conduct cycle counts and assist with stocktakes

• Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment

Material Supply to Production

• Pick components and prepare kits for manufacturing

• Coordinate with the production team to ensure timely material flow

• Monitor usage and flag issues that may impact production

Despatch & Logistics

• Pack and prepare goods for despatch

• Load outgoing goods safely

• Assist with domestic freight bookings and documentation

Assembly & Production Support

• Perform basic assembly tasks following work instructions

• Move between stores and production areas as workload demands

About You

Essential

• Experience in stores, warehouse, or inward goods operations

• Current forklift licence and safe operating experience

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English

• Willingness to support assembly/production tasks when required

• Sound mechanical aptitude

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Positive communication skills and a team focused approach

• Current Victorian driver’s licence

• Ability to manage competing priorities

• Right to work in Australia (citizen, permanent resident or valid visa)

Desirable

• Experience in a manufacturing environment (electronics or component assembly advantageous)

• Familiarity with inventory management or ERP systems
