We are looking for motivated Solicitor/ Associate to join our Queensland personal
injury team. We are on a mission to grow fast with a team of dynamic talent who

Role Overview
You will independently manage a portfolio of personal injury matters across statutory compensation schemes, working closely with experienced practitioners and supported by dedicated paralegal and
administrative staff.
This role is suited to a lawyer who enjoys autonomy, client interaction, and strategic case management within a structured and supportive practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently manage a portfolio of personal injury matters;
- Conduct liability and quantum assessments and develop effective claim strategies;
- Manage matters through Queensland statutory pre-litigation processes;
- Ensure compliance with limitation periods, statutory obligations, and procedural requirements;
- Progress claims efficiently toward resolution or litigation where appropriate;
- Provide clear, practical legal advice throughout
the claim lifecycle;
- Draft and review legal correspondence, notices of claim, and settlement documentation;
- Prepare matters for compulsory conferences, mediations, and negotiations;
- Brief and liaise with counsel and expert witnesses;
- Negotiate settlements with insurers and opposing representatives;
- Maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication;
- Liaise with insurers, medical practitioners, experts, and other stakeholders;
- Provide guidance and direction to paralegal and administrative support staff as required;
- Maintain high-quality file management and documentation standards;
- Ensure matters progress in accordance with firm procedures and regulatory obligations;
- Contribute to precedent development and workflow improvements;
- Contribute towards business development and networking initiatives.
Key Requirements
- 2 –5 years’ post-admission experience in workers’ compensation and/or personal injury;
- Demonstrated ability to autonomously manage a substantial file load;
- Strong working knowledge of QLD workers’ compensation legislation and procedures;
- Excellent communication, organisational, and time-management skills;
- Experience preparing matters for compulsory conferences and settlement negotiations;
- Excellent organisational, time-management, and communication skills;
- Strong client service mindset and attention to detail.
Desirable
- Additional language skills will be highly regarded.
