We are looking for a Legal Secretary to join our Sydney CBD team, supporting solicitors in personal injury, workers’ compensation, and TPD claims. This is a long-term opportunity within a stable and growing national firm where you can make a meaningful impact.

Role Overview

You will provide high-level administrative and legal support to our solicitors, ensuring the smooth running of personal injury matters and contributing directly to the success of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to solicitors across workers’ compensation, CTP claims, and TPD claims.
  • Act as the first point of contact for clients, insurers, medical providers, and other stakeholders.
  • Draft and prepare correspondence to clients, insurers, treatment providers, hospitals, and the Independent Review Office (IRO).
  • Manage client communications regarding appointments, updates, and general enquiries.
  • Draft letters of instruction to Independent Medical Examiners (IME).
  • Prepare settlement documents, costs schedules, PIC applications, wage schedules, and assist with brief preparation.
  • Open, maintain, and close legal files.
  • Diarise key dates, appointments, and statutory deadlines.

Key Requirements

  • Previous experience as a legal secretary in personal injury / workers’ compensation.
  • Strong document drafting and file management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Professional communication skills and a client-focused approach.
