The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Legal Secretary with over 3 years of experience in Workers’ Compensation law to join our dynamic team in our Sydney CBD office. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated legal support professional looking to work in a fast-paced, supportive environment where your expertise will be valued and your career can flourish.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage legal correspondence, court documents, and briefs efficiently and accurately

• Handle diary management and coordinate appointments, court dates, and mediations

• Maintain, open, and archive legal files in line with firm procedures

• Liaise professionally with clients, medical providers, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth case progression

• Assist with preparations for court hearings and mediations, ensuring all documents and materials are ready

• Support administrative tasks including billing, timesheet entry, and general office duties

• Contribute to a team environment by supporting colleagues and maintaining high standards of client service

Who We Are Looking For

• At least 3+ years of experience as a Paralegal or Legal Secretary, preferably within Workers’ Compensation law

• Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines in a busy environment

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks

• Professional, empathetic, and client-focused communication style

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with legal practice management systems (ActionStep experience is a plus)

• A proactive, collaborative approach with excellent communication skills

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a positive attitude toward learning and growth
