Summary:

This role will report directly to the EGM of Operations to ensure quality and professional management of a portfolio of stabilised land lease communities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the performance of a community Portfolio which broadly covers areas of Financial Performance, Resident Management, Facilities & Compliance, Events & Activation.
  • Work with Community Managers, ensuring reporting regime and management performance is best practice, including arrears management.
  • Complete summary reports on individual assets as requested.
  • Maintain the Asset Community Plan register and complete summary reports on individual assets as requested.
  • Reporting actual vs budget and forecasts, analysing variances, and initiating corrective action.
  • Identify initiatives to ensure best practice resident interaction and management.
  • Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with relevant legislation, company policies, processes and delegated authorities.
  • Work with Community Managers, ensuring reporting regime and management performance is best practice.
  • Ensure a team environment encouraging open communication.
  • Work closely with the development, sales, and marketing teams to ensure operational
  • readiness of new developments, aligning community operations with development objectives.
  • Support the successful transition of newly developed properties into operational assets, ensuring seamless integration with the broader portfolio.
  • Partner with the sales and marketing teams to create compelling value propositions for prospective residents, incorporating operational insights into marketing materials and campaigns.
  • Assist in the development of sales and marketing strategies that promote community
  • engagement and support high occupancy rates across all assets.

Qualifications:

  • Background in strata management, property management, land lease communities, or a similar multi-site environment
  • Strong financial and operational capability, with experience managing budgets and performance outcomes
  • Proven people leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Comfortable managing a diverse portfolio with regional travel required
