WHO ARE WE? 

Lighthouse Foundation provides homes and therapeutic care programs to children and young people impacted by long-term neglect, abuse, and homelessness. Our focus is to create caring communities where kids can feel safe, form meaningful relationships, and begin to heal from traumatic experiences. For the past 35 years, our proven Model of Care has successfully transformed the lives of over 1,500 young people using a range of evidence-based strategies. We now educate and support Foster Carers in the same way, so that they too can take care of some of Australia’s most vulnerable children. 

HOW WILL I HELP? 

The Partnerships Coordinator is responsible for the effective management and coordination of Lighthouse’s corporate partnerships portfolio. This position plays a key role in protecting partnership revenue and supporting renewals and sustainable growth. The Partnerships Coordinator works closely with the Head of Partnerships, CEO and Marketing team to ensure partners feel valued, informed and connected to Lighthouse’s impact. This role offers an opportunity to work closely with senior leaders and corporate partners while developing expertise in purpose-led partnerships and social impact engagement. 

 

Reporting to the Head of Partnerships, you will be responsible for but not limited to: 

  • Partnership & Account Management: Act as the primary contact to build trust, manage agreements/renewals, track deliverables, and maintain accurate CRM records and invoicing. 

  • Partner Engagement: Coordinate volunteering and activations, support event delivery, and prepare senior staff for partner meetings and site visits. 

  • Impact Reporting & Communications: Gather data to draft engaging impact reports and collaborate with Marketing on partner brand visibility and recognition content. 

  • Internal Coordination: Liaise across Care, Finance, and Marketing teams to ensure all partnership obligations are met and foster collaborative practice. 

  • Performance Indicators: Meet targets for partner retention, reporting quality, CRM accuracy, and sustainable revenue growth as per the annual work plan.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL? 

Primarily, interpersonal skills are necessary, with a level of maturity and understanding needed when working with those who use and support our services.  

From a professional standpoint you will require: 

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in partnerships, fundraising, marketing, or stakeholder engagement  

  • Demonstrated relationship management capability  

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills  

  • Project coordination and organisational skills  

  • Experience drafting professional communications (reports, EDMs, summaries, digital media)  

  • High emotional intelligence and adaptability  

 

Other key skills which would be desirable:

  • Experience in the not-for-profit sector  

  • Experience using CRM systems  

  • Tertiary qualification in communications, marketing, business, fundraising, or related field  

  • Experience supporting corporate engagement or events

  • Current Working with Children Check and Criminal Record Check  

  • Current driver’s licence  

  • Participation in professional development and supervision  

  • Adherence to Lighthouse’s trauma-informed and culturally respectful practice
