Lifeline Australia is a national suicide prevention charity providing all Australians experiencing emotional distress with access to 24-hour crisis support and suicide prevention services. Lifeline Australia Ltd (LLA) is located in Sydney, with small teams of dedicated staff employed to lead funding and corporate relations activities, and to provide the design, technical infrastructure and governance of services across Lifeline’s member network. LLA recently embarked on an exciting transformation journey, guided by an ambitious strategic plan.

ROLE

The Crisis Support Training Administrator involves coordinating training delivery, managing registrations and logistics, and providing technical support to trainers and participants.

This role may be exposed to traumatic content in the course of undertaking their duties. It is important and expected that the incumbent engage in proactive and positive mental health practices including accessing tools and services provided by Lifeline Australia to support their health and wellbeing.  

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate all aspects of the learner journey including onboarding, instructional activities, engagement, and completion of training.
  • Coordinate the administration of assessments, training completion, placements, and other learning activities. 
  • Coordinate communications with learners including monitoring and responding to queries and escalating matters as required.
  • Support and track learner engagement including undertaking wellbeing checks.
  • Process learner withdrawals.
  • Optimise the training calendar to maximise resource utilisation and minimise scheduling conflicts.
  • Provide and maintain comprehensive scheduling systems, reports, data requirements, user guides, training materials and forms. 
  • Ensure accurate and timely record keeping procedures and data reporting required in the role. 
  • Ensure compliance with training delivery standards and contractual obligations
  • Assist trainers with technical issues during live virtual training sessions.
  • Ad-hoc duties as requested.

ABOUT YOU

  • Previous experience in high volume administration and coordination.
  • Previous experience working in a digital health service or telehealth or contact centre. 
  • Exceptional organisational skills, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of proficiency with a wide range of software programs including Moodle LMS administration, Microsoft Office suite, online meeting platforms (e.g., Chat, Zoom).
  • Excellent typing capabilities with speed and accuracy.  
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and commitment to professional acumen
  • Willingness and ability to grow and develop.  
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. 
  • High levels of emotional intelligence and resilience. 
  • A commitment to ongoing self-care and personal development.
  • Certificate or Diploma in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or related field (desirable).
