Le Mans Entertainment is Australia’s largest karting and entertainment venue. Located in Melbourne South-East on a 23 acre site, the facilities include 4 racing tracks, Sportsbar, Laser Tag, Mini-Golf, Arcades and a free roam virtual reality arena – “Zero Latency”.

About the role

We sell fun and excitement and have an exciting opportunity to join our customer centric team!

Our Track Safety Marshals are responsible for supervising the tracks to ensure the safety of guests whilst racing, as well as identifying potential risks and taking appropriate action. From safety briefing and checks, starting and refueling karts, to the finish flag and our fond farewell – a Track Safety Marshal is a varied role that will keep you on your toes.

Our Supervisor incorporates the foundation of a Track Marshal, whilst ensuring the tracks are running to time, being the first point of contact for any issues, leading by example and managing your respective track team on shift.

Key Ingredients:

• Excellent people skills and ability to communicate effectively – sometimes tough conversations are required!
• Comfortable interacting with large groups of people – hosting party groups will be required from time to time
• Understands the importance of and upholds safety standards – we want to ensure a fun and safe experience
• Ability to adapt and think quickly on your feet – you are first responders to a variety of situations
• Sense of urgency with excellent time management skills – to ensure the track runs smoothly and efficiently
• Flexible and available during peak periods and on weekends – Friday, Saturday and Sunday availability is a must
• You take ownership, work on continuous improvement and eager to learn and develop – we have a range of responsibilities you can take on
• Well-presented
• Hold a current Working with Children’s Check
