About the Organisation

Le Mans Entertainment is Australia’s largest karting and entertainment venue. Located in Melbourne’s South-East on a 23 acre site, the facilities include 4 separate karting tracks, an EPIC new 18 Hole Mini Golf Course, Arcade, Beer Garden, Sports Bar, Laser Tag, and the world’s best free roam virtual reality Zero Latency.

We sell fun and excitement and have an exciting opportunity to join our Game Masters in Mission Control.

Mission Control means entering a different world and changing your persona for as long as you please. From Obi-Wan to Wonder Woman, our Game Masters allow people to step into their alter-ego and guide them in a world of fun and adventure. This role will see you:

• Run and supervise virtual reality and laser tag games
• Give guests the ultimate briefing to prepare them for their new world
• Explain game and equipment rules to ensure guests have a fun and safe experience
• Troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise during game play
• Keep to a schedule and prepare the next group
• Debrief and have a laugh post mission
• Set up and pack down the VR and laser tag arenas
• Upsell and cross-sell other games and activities

Our Game Masters are experts at building anticipation. To be successful you must have:

• Fantastic people skills and an ability to quickly connect with everyone
• Effective communication skills and comfortable with public speaking in front of large groups of people
• Good time management to ensure our games run on time
• An ability to remain calm in stressful situations and efficiently problem solve
• Willingness to continuously improve and take ownership
• Availability outside of regular business hours, on weekends and during peak periods
• Well presented
