Full-Time Bookkeeper – Trust Accounts

Location: Melbourne CBD (Hybrid), Brisbane (Hybrid), or NSW (WFH)

Are you an experienced Bookkeeper with NSW trust accounting expertise? Join our growing team and play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations.

We are seeking a detail-oriented, trustworthy and proactive Bookkeeper to manage our trust transactions. This is a full‑time position ideal for someone who enjoys structure, compliance, and working within a professional team environment.

About the Role

In this full-time position, you will take responsibility for the accurate processing of trust payments, receipts, reconciliations, and the maintenance of compliant trust records. You’ll work closely with our operations team to ensure all trust transactions meet regulatory requirements and support our clients with professionalism.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Processing trust account receipts, transfers, and payments
  • Completing daily/monthly trust reconciliations
  • Ensuring compliance with trust accounting legislation
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and ledgers
  • Assisting with external trust audits
  • Working with internal teams to resolve queries
  • Creating new trust ledger accounts in accordance with trust accounting legislation and internal policies
  • Weekly trust account reconciliations, and
  • Managing Controlled Money accounts and transactions
  • Salary commensurate with experience

What You Bring

  • Experience in trust accounting (legal, conveyancing, real estate, or similar regulated environment) – NSW preferred
  • Strong bookkeeping experience and understanding of accounting principles
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Experience with accounting or practice management software
