The Role

We are seeking an experienced Aftercare Manager to oversee defect rectification and building maintenance works across our residential buildings in Sydney. You will work closely with internal project teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage defect rectification, repair, and maintenance works across completed projects
• Coordinate works from PC in conjunction with the Head of Aftercare
• Review and assess defect and maintenance requests (defect vs damage vs fair wear and tear)
• Manage subcontractors to ensure quality, safety, time, and cost outcomes
• Inspect and approve completed works
• Ensure all works are recorded and closed out in internal systems
• Attend Aftercare Progress Review Meetings
• Assist with Annual Building Condition Reports
• Identify recurring design and construction quality issues and recommend improvements
• Ensure safety, environmental standards, and customer service excellence at all times

About You

• 10+ years’ experience in the residential construction industry
• Strong knowledge of defect management and building maintenance
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple buildings at once
• Proactive, solutions-focused, and outcomes driven
• Strong communicator with a collaborative approach
• High level of integrity and professionalism
• Potential to lead a growing aftercare team
