Lady Gowrie Tasmania is pleased to invite expressions of interest from current team members for appointment to the Room Leader role.

Following recent changes to our Enterprise Agreement, Room Leader is now a dedicated classified role, rather than an allowance. This appointment recognises the important leadership, practice and child-safety responsibilities of Room Leaders within our services.

About the Role

Room Leaders play a key role in:

• Leading practice and supporting educators within the room
• Contributing to high-quality programs aligned with the EYLF or My Time, Our Place
• Supporting child safety, supervision and wellbeing
• Working closely with Service Leadership to support quality, compliance and continuous improvement

Who Can Apply

• Current Lady Gowrie Tasmania employees
• Educators who may be interested in moving to a different LGT service
• Team members who are ready to take on, or continue in, a formal leadership role within a room
