About the role
Are you passionate about helping children learn, grow and thrive?
We’re looking for enthusiastic and caring OSHC educators to join our team in Hobart and support us in delivering high quality Before and After school care. You will be supporting children aged 5-12 years in fun, safe and nurturing environment.
With shifts available Before and After school care, this role offers genuine flexibility to fit around your lifestyle-whether you are a student, parents or simply value work-life balance.

The role you’ll play:
- Support children’s wellbeing, inclusion and safety
- Assist with planning and delivering engaging, age‑appropriate activities
- Build positive and respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Help create a fun, safe and welcoming environment where every child feels they belong
About you:
- A genuine passion for working with children, commitment to child safety and wellbeing, and alignment with Lady Gowrie Tasmania’s Children First values.
- Experience in education, childcare, youth work, volunteering with children or a related field
(desirable)
- Strong communication, reliable and punctual
- Current Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People Registration (child-related activity – childcare services)
