About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Technical Lead to provide technical leadership to our Delivery Team. You will enable and mentor the delivery team, liaise with the development team, and support the sales function. You will also work directly with client executives to help them realise the value of the Kompozition Digital Engineering platform.
This role is ideal for an experienced Mission Engineer who is comfortable with multitasking and context switching and who enjoys technical enablement.
You will work with experienced Mission Engineering and MBSE experts, contributing to projects of national significance.

Our ideal candidate is:
- Someone with 5+ years of experience in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) on major projects
- An individual with strong observational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- A strong communicator who enjoys working collaboratively
- Organised, reliable, and able to manage time effectively
- A proven technical leader with experience guiding engineering teams and delivering complex initiatives
- An individual with recent Defence experience as a Systems Engineer and/or Mission Engineer
- Willing to work onsite with clients, primarily in Canberra
Highly Desirable
- Previous leadership experience
- Experience with SysML-based modelling tools
- Experience in customer support, consulting, or analytical roles
- Intermediate to expert-level knowledge of Behaviour Modelling Language and the Kompozition platform
Essential Requirements
- Australian citizenship, due to Defence-related work
- An active Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA) security clearance
- Qualifications and/or experience in a STEM-related field (e.g. Engineering, IT, programming, or technical analysis)
What You’ll Do
Liaise with the Chief Product Officer (CPO) to ensure required features, integrations, and capabilities are identified, prioritised, and delivered
- Evangelise the use of Behaviour Modelling to enable Mission Engineering outcomes through the Kompozition platform
- Ensure internal delivery staff, partners, and clients extract maximum value from the platform
- Drive adoption of the Kompozition platform across existing clients
- Maintain a high level of quality and alignment across projects involving internal teams, partners, and clients
- Mentor delivery staff, partners, and clients in the use of the platform
- Support sales efforts by designing solutions to complex problems using the Kompozition platform
- Prepare and deliver presentations demonstrating platform capabilities and client outcomes
- Collaborate with the Training Lead to ensure appropriate enablement across teams and clients
- Support the development of training materials
