KompleteCare are looking for a Care Officer that will support our client base within the Aged Care and NDIS sector.

It would be advantageous if applicants held either a Diploma in Community services, Diploma in Nursing, Bachelor of Nursing or a Bachelor within the industry or are willing to undertake a Traineeship to obtain their Diploma in Community Services.

The successful candidate will join a supportive team environment that offers comprehensive training and ongoing assistance. The ideal applicant will possess strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and demonstrate a high level of computer proficiency. They will have the ability to multitask effectively, think outside the box, and manage competing priorities.

A key component of this role is the ability to accurately bill clients for services across both Aged Care and NDIS programs, supporting KompleteCare’s commitment to quality service delivery and operational excellence. The successful candidate will demonstrate proven experience and competency in processing client needs and services in accordance with Aged Care and NDIS funding requirements and the company’s billing procedures. This including interpreting service agreements and funding budgets, applying the correct charge rates in line with relevant fee schedules with a high level of accuracy.

We are currently seeking a Care Officers for our Kilburn and Gawler offices.

Will oversee predominately noncomplex NDIS, and level 1 & 2 HCP clients. Exceptions can be made at the discretion of the site Care Manager, including providing Support Coordination, after probation if applicable

• Manage Aged Care & NDIS clients

• Care Manager to ensure accurate daily billing achievement of KPI targets

• Creating, implementing & monitoring budgets

• Monitor costing and claims against client services i.e. KMs, reimbursements etc.

• Maintaining regular contact with clients based on their needs

• Conduct 3-monthly home visits in conjunction with relevant MAC / NDIS Standards

• Communicate with support coordinators and NDIS or My Aged Care (whichever is relevant to the client)

• Part of the role is an expectation to do On Call and Duty Officer task

• Incident management – JLB entries and follow ups

• Reading, managing and maintaining notes and interactions on a regular basis outlined in your department Manual (5 W’s or ISBAR)

• Advocating, respecting, and providing client’s choice and control with supports / services and establishing contact with contractors

• Assist HSWs with client concerns, supply of PPE

• Accurate reflection of the client’s needs in paperwork (ISP & Risk specifically) as well as creating and updating care areas as directed by a client/representative in line with their needs

• Obtaining correct consents to support the client’s needs – establishing supports

• Creating, monitoring, and updating visual care

• Maintaining and use of best practice in line with NDIS/MAC standards, compliance, and other government agencies

• Post discharge supports from hospital or facility requirements

• Monitor, reply and document daily emails, calls and text

• Maintain and Monitor client files/paperwork and SharePoint

• Request and monitor service requests – working/liaising with rostering, allied supports (including KompleteCare Nurses) and Home Support Workers

• Immediately Report issues and concerns to Reporting Line Manager

• Handling client complaints, feedback, improvements etc.

• Attend weekly team meetings at allocated site
