About the Role

We’re looking for a versatile, proactive and compliance‑minded Marketing Assistant to help amplify our message across Kiama Community College Ltd, South Coast Community College and Shoalhaven River College. This is a full‑time role, temporary 6‑month contract, with the opportunity to become permanent. Working closely with our Communications Specialist, you’ll support our communications by balancing creative content production with the accuracy and attention to detail required in an RTO environment, ensuring everything we publish is polished, purposeful and compliant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and schedule engaging, compliant social media content across all platforms
  • Design digital and print marketing assets using Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite
  • Support websites and digital newsletters with accurate course and compliance information
  • Use CRM systems to track campaigns and manage marketing data securely
  • Ensure all marketing meets ASQA and NESA requirements and brand guidelines
  • Maintain marketing approvals, registers and documentation for audit readiness
  • Assist with events, expos, open days and graduations, including setup and pack‑down

Skills & Experience

  • Marketing or communications experience (RTO experience desirable)
  • Strong attention to detail and compliance focus
  • Confident with Canva / Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience using CRM systems
  • Clear written communication and hands‑on approach
