KeyInvest is seeking a Head of Application Management & Digital Products to lead the ownership, performance and governance of our application ecosystem and digital platforms across the investment value chain.
This is a critical leadership role responsible for ensuring our technology platforms are secure, resilient, compliant and delivering measurable business value in a highly regulated environment.
About the Role
Reporting to the Chief of Staff and Chief Information Officer, you will take end-to-end ownership of KeyInvest’s application landscape, acting as First Line of Defence for application and digital platform risks.
You will lead the management of core platforms, vendor performance, and regulatory obligations, while ensuring disciplined delivery, strong controls, and operational resilience
Key Responsibilities
Application & Vendor Management
- Own day-to-day management of critical business applications across the investment value chain
- Manage key vendor relationships (including MSPs), ensuring service levels, resilience and contractual obligations are met
- Identify and manage application-related risks, escalating where required
- Support vendor procurement, onboarding and renewals in partnership with internal stakeholders
Architecture, Access & Knowledge Management
- Co-own the Data and Application Architecture roadmap, ensuring alignment to enterprise standards
- Lead user access and identity management controls, including governance and periodic reviews
- Drive strong knowledge management practices, ensuring documentation is accurate, accessible and current
Change, Testing & Delivery Governance
- Provide governance oversight of user acceptance testing (UAT) and digital delivery activities
- Ensure disciplined change control processes are in place to minimise operational risk
- Support delivery teams to align with enterprise standards and best practices
Regulatory, Audit & Assurance
- Lead delivery of regulatory obligations aligned to CPS 230, CPS 234 and CPS 220
- Maintain audit-ready documentation and evidence for internal and external assurance
- Partner with Risk, Information Security and assurance stakeholders to ensure controls are effective and sustainable
What You Bring
You are a senior technology leader with strong experience in application management and digital platforms within regulated environments.
You will demonstrate:
- Proven experience in application management, digital product ownership or technology operations
- Strong understanding of APRA regulatory standards (CPS 230, CPS 234, CPS 220)
- Experience managing third-party vendors and managed service providers (MSPs)
- Solid understanding of application, data and integration architecture
- Experience with access management and identity controls
Leadership & Delivery Capability
- Ability to operate in complex, fast-moving environments with competing priorities
- Experience working across agile or hybrid delivery models
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including at executive level
- Ability to translate business needs into practical, compliant technology solutions
- Structured, outcomes-focused approach with strong attention to risk, controls and evidence
