Summary:

The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. This role requires knowledge of coffee flavours, brewing methods, and drink recipes.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve beverages, snacks, and pastries
• Offer advice to customers on drink choices
• Operate coffee machines and other equipment
• Clean and maintain equipment and work area
• Monitor stock levels and order supplies
• Create a welcoming atmosphere for customers

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Barista in a high-volume café.
• Knowledge of coffee brewing methods and recipes
• Good time management skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to operate and maintain espresso machines and grinders.
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
