Are you a People & Culture professional who thrives on building strong partnerships and working in a hands‑on, all‑rounder P&C role? We’re looking for a People & Culture Business Advisor to join Jowett Motor Group and help elevate the employee experience across our dealership network.

In this role, you’ll be a trusted partner to leaders across your allocated dealerships – providing practical P&C support while also contributing to broader strategic initiatives. Your work will span coaching, onboarding, ER guidance, workforce planning and day‑to‑day coordination, ensuring our approach aligns with JMG’s Purpose and Mantras.
Working closely with our Head of People & Culture, you’ll play a key role in building capability, driving consistency and supporting positive people outcomes across the Group.

In this role, you will:
- Own the end‑to‑end delivery of People & Culture support across the dealerships.
- Partner with leaders to provide practical, commercially sound P&C advice.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, induction and probation processes.
- Coach leaders on effective people management and consistent leadership practices.
- Manage ER/IR matters including investigations, conduct, performance and workplace concerns.
- Lead compliance activities across documentation, licences, training and WorkCover/RTW.
- Support organisational change, workforce planning and structural reviews.
- Coordinate OH&S, wellbeing and injury management requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder partnership skills, with proven ability to influence.
- Maintain accurate and professional P&C records, reporting and documentation.
- High-level written communication skills, including policy and report writing, with experience in preparing board-level documentation.
We’re looking for someone with:
- Tertiary qualification and 5+ years People & Culture advisory experience.
- A strong blend of strategic thinking and hands‑on execution.
- Experience leading or supporting organisational and cultural change.
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder partnership skills.
- Strong problem‑solving capability with a solutions‑focused mindset.
- High‑level written communication skills, including policy and report writing.
- A collaborative, team‑oriented approach and a passion for developing people capability.
- Proficiency with HRIS and payroll systems.
- Understanding of Australian employment legislation and compliance frameworks.
