About the opportunity:
The New Vehicle Sales Consultant is responsible for driving new vehicle sales at Chery Doncaster by delivering an exceptional customer experience and achieving individual and team sales targets. Working closely with the Sales Management team, you will engage with customers to understand their needs, present suitable vehicle options, and guide them through the sales process from initial enquiry to vehicle delivery.
This role is primarily based at the dealership and involves welcoming customers to the showroom, conducting vehicle demonstrations and test drives, preparing sales documentation, and maintaining strong product knowledge across the Chery range.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver an outstanding customer experience from first enquiry through to vehicle delivery.
- Proactively engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable Chery vehicles.
- Conduct professional vehicle presentations and arrange test drives.
- Achieve individual and team sales targets while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
- Prepare and process sales documentation accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain up-to-date product knowledge across the Chery range, including features, pricing, and promotions.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Follow dealership processes and compliance requirements.
- Support the broader dealership team as required to ensure smooth daily operations.
About you
You’ll bring:
- Proven experience in automotive sales, ideally within a dealership environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Strong product knowledge and the ability to confidently present and sell vehicles.
- A current driver’s licence and professional presentation.
- A proactive attitude, resilience, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
