About the role

The New Vehicle Sales Consultant is responsible for driving new vehicle sales at Honda Brighton by delivering an exceptional customer experience and achieving individual and team sales targets. Working closely with the Sales Management team, you will engage with customers to understand their needs, present suitable vehicle options, and guide them through the sales process from initial enquiry to vehicle delivery. This role is primarily based at the dealership and involves welcoming customers to the showroom, conducting exciting vehicle demonstrations and test drives, preparing sales documentation, and maintaining strong product knowledge across the Honda range to provide confident, informed advice.

Key responsibilities

  • Drive new vehicle sales and achieve individual and team sales targets.

  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable Honda vehicles.
  • Guide customers through the sales process from initial enquiry to vehicle delivery.
  • Conduct vehicle demonstrations and test drives, highlighting features and benefits.
  • Prepare accurate sales documentation and process contracts efficiently.
  • Maintain up-to-date product knowledge across the Honda range.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, building long-term relationships.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Management team to support dealership goals.
  • Monitor and follow up on leads and enquiries to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Ensure the showroom is welcoming, organized, and professionally presented.

About you

You’ll bring:

  • Proven experience in automotive sales, ideally within a dealership environment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
  • Strong product knowledge and the ability to confidently present and sell vehicles.
  • A current driver’s licence and professional presentation.
  • A proactive attitude, resilience, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
