We are seeking a talented and motivated Lawyer specialising in Banking and Finance to join our dynamic team.
Position Overview
As a Lawyer specialising in Banking and Finance Law, you will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced legal professionals, gaining exposure to a wide range of banking and finance transactions. This role offers a supportive environment for career growth and professional development.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct legal research on banking and finance laws and regulations to support the team in providing accurate and up-to-date advice
• Drafting and reviewing legal documents related to banking and finance transactions, including loan agreements, mortgages and security documents and regulatory compliance
• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, providing legal support and assistance under the guidance of senior lawyers to settle files
• Using PEXA for streamlined and efficient electronic conveyancing
• Contribute to due diligence processes, ensuring thorough examination of relevant legal aspects in banking and finance matters
• Manage and organise legal documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal requirements
Qualifications
• Australian legal practitioner and have a minimum of 2-4 years’ post admission experience
• Experience in banking and finance, title transactions, commercial leasing, residential and commercial property matters
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
