The Venue:
Jerry Road Brewery
Situated in Dromana and a stone’s throw from the beach Jetty Road Brewery caters for everyone – those passing by for a quick beer, those looking for something to eat. We like to think it is a place where our guests can come to unwind and relax and enjoy some local hospitality and local beer.
We host loads of local events, festivals and live music from some of the best performers on the Peninsula.
The Position:
This is a role for a skilled, systems-oriented, people manager not a creative Chef who loves to play with food.
You will have the chance to work alongside our Executive Chef collaborating on menus but most of you time will be spent driving the development of the team you will be leading.
We focus on the numbers as well so you will be able to show off your food cost control skills as well as managing at tight ship when it comes to labour costs.
Jetty Road Brewery is high volume especially over the summer so your organizational skills will be tested every day on the very busy Peninsula.
Ultimately, it’s your kitchen, you run it with the support of some of the most experienced hospitality people anywhere in the country.

Who are we looking for?
Someone with a passion for people, a strong leader who inspires the team and wants to help strengthen the brigade through training & development.
Demonstrate the ability to train, mentor, coach and develop high performing teams through outstanding communication and a willingness to hold people accountable.
A natural leader displaying a hands-on approach, and ability to deal with problems by offering practical solutions in a timely manner.
Strong business acumen with proven record of achieving KPI’s.
Demonstrate a well-rounded experience across dining menus, high volume functions and events.
Experience with online rostering and cooking the books kitchen software would be a competitive advantage.
Demonstrates a positive and customer centric attitude.
