Experienced GPS Excavator Operators
JDM Earthworks is an excavation/civil contractor that has been operating across Melbourne for 30 years.
We are currently seeking experienced and motivated excavator operators to join our team.
The ideal applicant will have:
At least 3 years land development, subdivision and roadwork/infrastructure experience operating excavators
Working with trucks
Must have Experience in GPS
Must have Drainage experience
Must have good eye for detail
Must be able to finish work to a high level
Construction induction card (White/red card)
Relevant plant licenses
Current Australian driver’s license and personal transport
A can-do attitude, correct work ethic and reliability
Experience on other plant is preferable
Have a basic mechanical understanding of relevant mobile
The positions task and responsibilities will include:
Operating earth moving equipment on various projects around Melbourne including subdivisions, drainage, road/infrastructure and bulk earthworks
Final trim quality with a good eye for detail and be able to finish work to a high level
Working safely as part of a team and/or individually
Reporting to management daily
Meeting project timelines
Completing Daily Pre-Start checks
Keeping machines in top condition and well-greased
