As we continue to expand, we’re seeking a motivated Business Development Manager with a hunter mindset to help drive our next phase of growth.

What you’ll be doing

  • Proactively identifying and targeting new business opportunities across commercial and enterprise sectors
  • Building and managing a robust pipeline from lead generation through to contract negotiation and close
  • Collaborating with internal technical and delivery teams to tailor solutions that meet customer requirements
  • Developing account growth strategies and executing business plans to achieve monthly and annual targets
  • Representing JD Security at industry events and customer engagements
  • Providing accurate forecasting and reporting to senior leadership

What we’re looking for

  • A proven track record of selling electronic security solutions in the Australian market
  • Deep understanding of the commercial security industry – including market dynamics, buying cycles, and decision-makers
  • Existing industry contacts and relationships, with the ability to open doors and build trust quickly
  • Familiarity with high-end security platforms such as Genetec, Avigilon, Integriti, and Axis
  • Confident in solution selling and capable of working with engineers and stakeholders to deliver tailored outcomes
  • Resilient, self-motivated, and focused on achieving results – someone who enjoys the thrill of the chase
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a national team
