Community Support Worker

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Support Worker to provide high-level care for a client living with a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) sustained from a motor vehicle accident. This role is ideal for someone with a calm, compassionate approach and proven experience in complex physical support.

Location: St. Clair, NSW

Availability Required: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Client Needs & Conditions:

• Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)
• High falls risk
• Muscular weakness and mobility concerns
• Continence care and skin integrity monitoring

Support Services Include:

• Domestic Assistance (cleaning, tidying, meal preparation)
• Personal Care (hygiene, grooming, toileting)
• Mobility and Transfers (manual handling, using mobility aids)
• Transport and Shopping
• Medication Prompting
• Skin and pressure care
• Promoting safety, dignity, and daily independence

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Experience supporting clients with acquired brain injury or high care physical needs
• Knowledge of falls prevention and muscular support
• Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, or equivalent
• Excellent communication and observation skills
• Ability to work independently and confidently in a home environment
• Valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle

Mandatory Requirements:
