Summary:

We are a growing and professional accounting practice seeking a motivated Junior Bookkeeper to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or build their career in bookkeeping within a supportive environment, with full training provided.

About the Role:

Working closely with our experienced existing bookkeeping team and accountants, you will assist with a range of bookkeeping and administrative tasks, including:

  • Data entry and bank reconciliations
  • Accounts payable and receivable processing
  • Assisting with BAS preparation
  • Assisting with client payroll
  • Maintaining client records and files
  • General administrative support to the team

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A Certificate IV in Bookkeeping (or equivalent qualification)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (experience with Xero / MYOB is an advantage but not essential)
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn
