Jack’s Butterflies was founded on the basis of providing holistic and unwatering support and advocacy for children and their families affected by life limiting rare diseases.

Sky-High is a division of Jack’s Butterflies where we take our ethos of providing holistic and unwavering support and advocacy to any person living with a disability and require support to live their best life.
We are a team filled to the brim of skilled professionals, clinical nurses specialising in paediatrics and adults with acute care requirements, physiotherapists who tailor programs for land, water and respiratory physio, specialised support coordinators and individuals with extensive real lived experience of the sector.
We have recently expanded into the aged-care sector and all realms of disability care and are looking for compassionate, reliable and dedicated Support Workers or Nursing/Allied Health Students to join our team.
ABOUT OUR CLIENTS
We are in a big growth phase and have the following clients
– High Intensity Support Worker for a teenager with complicated medical and disability care requirements.
– Mental Health Support Worker for an adult with complicated and extreme mental health disorder.
– Standard Support Worker for 5 clients ranging from 11-20 years with various ASD diagnosis.
– Couple and individuals with Aged Care, Home Care packages.
ABOUT YOU
Every client brings their own story, strengths, and needs. We’re looking for Support Workers who go beyond routine — those who listen, learn, and tailor their support to make a real difference, every single day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support clients with activities of daily living (personal care, meal preparation, household tasks)
- Support Clients with High Intensity tasks (bowel care, complex behaviours of concern with approved restrictive practices, subcutaneous injections)
- Provide transportation and community access
- Support clients to attend appointments and social activities
- Encourage independence, inclusion, and choice
- Maintain accurate documentation and communication with the team
You Need:
- A genuine passion for helping others
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A patient, empathetic, and professional approach
Essential Requirements:
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Australian Driver’s License & reliable vehicle
- Relevant qualification (e.g., Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, or equivalent) – desirable
