About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Services Lead to oversee the technical delivery and pre-sales team. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership capabilities, a deep technical background, and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead, mentor and manage the technical services team, including solution architects, project engineers, and pre-sales engineers.
• Solution architecture and technical lead responsibilities for projects.
• Ensure the technical quality of project deliverables.
• Prepare technical documentation for projects.
• Carry out evaluation and participate in selection of vendors of appropriate technologies to be used across the company for the provision of solutions to meet customer and business requirements.
• Work closely with clients technical and business stakeholders.
• Accountability for creating and reviewing proposals for client projects.
• Accountability for the formulation of detailed Bill of Materials for projects.
• Manage vendors from a technical perspective during projects.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a solution architect or similar roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership position.
• Strong knowledge of IT systems, networking, cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS), and cybersecurity.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• ITIL certification or similar is a plus.
• Ability to delegate tasks and responsibility.
• Excellent soft skills – listening, coaching, mentoring, facilitation.
• Demonstrated ability to understand technical concepts and contexts.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively.
