About the Role
Join Ironbark as an Administration Assistant in this Indigenous identified position. You will be the welcoming face of our organisation, providing professional front office services and essential administrative support to our Workforce Australia team in our Casuarina office. This role is vital for creating a positive atmosphere for staff and clients. Your contributions will help enhance community impact and promote cultural awareness. What you will do
As an Administration Assistant at Ironbark, you will play an important role in creating a friendly and inclusive environment for all visitors while supporting the Casuarina Workforce Australia team. Your responsibilities will include greeting visitors, managing calendar bookings, maintaining office supplies, supporting the team and their job seekers and complete various administrative tasks to keep the office and the team running efficiently. By participating in team meetings and supporting cultural initiatives, you will help build a workplace that values diversity and community engagement, contributing to our mission of making a meaningful impact.
We are looking for a suitable applicant who has:
• Proven experience in reception and administrative roles.
• Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Proactive and able to take initiative in tasks.
• Ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Demonstrated capacity to maintain high levels of confidentiality.
• Ability to successfully obtain a Working with Children (Ochre) Card and National Police Clearance.
