About the Role
Our AV specialists team design, install, commission and support professional audiovisual systems, often working in secure and operational environments alongside critical data communications.
We are looking to recruit an experienced Audio-Visual Field Technician to join our team and help deliver cutting-edge AV solutions across several key projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, terminate and test Audio Visual equipment, cabling and supporting infrastructure.
- Understanding plans, system diagrams, schematics and rack layouts.
- Building and wiring equipment racks.
- Troubleshooting, fault diagnosis and coordination of equipment repairs/warranty.
- Preparation and completion of job specific documentation.
- Support and work closely with the AV commissioning team.
- Assist in the provision of the on-the-job training for other Field Technicians and Trainees.
Qualifications/Experience
- Similar demonstrated experience in a commercial organisation.
- Training and certifications with leading AV manufacturers (desirable).
- Certificate III or IV in Telecommunications Technology (desirable).
- Current Australian Drivers Licence.
- Construction industry white card, Asbestos Awareness, Work Safely with Asbestos Containing Materials and Silica Awareness tickets – mandatory.
- NV1 Government Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one as required.
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Office suite of products.
