Summary:

As an HR Advisor based in Scarborough, Queensland, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our HR functions and ensuring the effective management of our workforce. Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice and support on HR policies, procedures, and best practices to management and employees.
  • Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, and conducting interviews.
  • Facilitate employee onboarding and orientation programmes to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
  • Manage employee relations issues, providing guidance on conflict resolution and performance management.
  • Support the development and implementation of training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills.
  • Conduct regular audits of HR processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance.
  • Stay updated on employment legislation and ensure the organisation’s policies are compliant with current laws.
  • Prepare and maintain HR reports and metrics to inform decision-making and strategy.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in an HR advisory or generalist role.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
