Who We Need (Specific Expertise)
We are looking for people who can add value in a range of areas:
• Clinicians/Technicians: Capable of high-quality technical and clinical work. We need people interested in the integration of rigorous clinical assessments with the engineering of devices and the interaction of materials.
• Administration: Highly competent in allied health administration, process management, and supporting the smooth function of a client-focused practice.
• Other: We are open to discussing collaborations with other healthcare professionals and service providers. We have an open concept of what doing things differently can look like.
• All Roles: Must be able to assist with overall business efficiency and quality of services. Be open to receiving support and training for personal and professional career progression.
Our Clinical Scope and Service
Our work spans a broad and meaningful range of orthotic and prosthetic services. Depending on your experience and interests, your role may include:
• Paediatric orthotic management, including AFOs, foot orthotics, hip dysplasia, cranial remoulding, all complex developmental and neuromuscular conditions.
• Complex adult neuromuscular conditions – microprocessor controlled KAFOs such as Cbrace and Tektus, FES devices including Molli Suits and Evomove,
• Build relationships and collaborate with specialists and referral pathways to prescribe appropriate treatments.
• Spinal orthoses for scoliosis, fracture management, and postural support.
• Definitive prosthetic management for upper and lower limb clients including MPKs,
• Assessment, prescription, design, fitting, review, and ongoing optimisation of custom devices.
• Funding applications for NDIS, ICWA, DVA etc
• In-patient services for private hospitals.
• Support and education for local and international clinicians and multidisciplinary colleagues.
