As a Local Area Coordinator, you will:

  • Work alongside people with disability, their families, and carers to support them in achieving their goals and aspirations.
  • Help participants exercise choice and control over the services they receive.
  • Collaborate with local organisations, community groups, and the NDIA to strengthen inclusion and build community capacity.
  • Support mainstream services to be more accessible and inclusive of people with disability.

This is a full-time fixed term contract, from ASAP until 30 June 2027. There is the possibility for extension of this contract. The role will be based in our Seymour office.  

The role is classified under the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award Level 4, with an annual starting salary of $88,090 plus superannuation and access to salary packaging benefits.

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience or background in disability, mental health, or related fields (highly regarded).
