About Us:
At Inspired Living QLD, we believe everyone deserves to live, connect, and grow with purpose. We’re expanding our team and looking for Participant Mentors who are consistent with a curiosity to explore and grow in an trauma-informed space.
About you:
You’re motivated, compassionate, and driven to make a difference — and you’re ready to learn, grow, and build a meaningful career in mental health support.
You have lived experience and are ready to turn your passion for helping others into a rewarding career.
About the Role:
As a Participant Mentor, you will support people living with psychosocial needs to:
- Build independence, resilience and daily living skills
- Work toward their NDIS goals with person‑centred support
- Strengthen emotional wellbeing and community participation
- Develop positive, nurturing relationships
- Grow within a trauma‑informed support environment
You will also receive training, mentoring, and ongoing development to grow and be confident in your role.
What We’re Looking For:
Applicants from all different backgrounds and experience:
You’ll excel if you have:
- A genuine and professional approach
- A willingness to learn and be trained on the job
- A positive attitude and strong communication skills
- The ability to work independently and within a supportive team
- A commitment to regular hours (30+ hours/week) across a 24/7 roster
- A desire to help others build resilience and improve their quality of life
You’ll need:
- Ability to demonstrate a positive, compassionate, resilient attitude
- A current Valid Driver’s Licence, with your own reliable vehicle and comprehensive insurance
- The willingness and ability to obtain your Paid Yellow card and Police check prior to commencing
