Inscope Training (RTO 40926) is a growing and dynamic Registered Training Organisation (RTO) providing hands-on, practical training in apprenticeships and short courses across Queensland and New South Wales. Are you a motivated and results-driven professional with a passion for building strong business relationships? Inscope Training is seeking a Business Development Officer to join our dynamic team, supporting employers across the Greater Sydney, Newcastle to Wollongong region.

The Role

As the Business Development Officer, you’ll be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with employers, group training organisations, and industry stakeholders to support apprenticeship growth in Carpentry and Plastering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new employer partnerships
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and apprentices
  • Promote Inscope Training’s apprenticeship programs under the Smart and Skilled funding model
  • Conduct employer visits to discuss training options, apprenticeship pathways, and workforce needs
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and support for apprentices and employers
  • Track performance, report on activity, and contribute to business growth strategies

About You

You’re an outgoing and professional communicator who enjoys building connections and delivering great service. You understand the building and construction industry and can confidently discuss apprenticeship pathways with employers and apprentices.

You will have:

  • Experience in business development, sales, or account management (RTO or apprenticeship experience highly regarded)
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills
  • Knowledge of the Smart and Skilled program or similar government-funded training (advantageous)
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach with a focus on results
  • Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel
