IAG Defence & National Security (DNS) team is growing, and we are seeking a Talent Manager to help us identify and mobilise specialist talent that underpins our work across the defence and national security sector.

We are open to candidates with a range of experience levels. The role can suit someone earlier
in their recruitment career who is looking to develop deep expertise in the defence sector, or a more experienced recruiter who brings established networks and market knowledge.

The Role
The Talent Manager will play a key role in supporting recruitment and resourcing efforts across the DNS business. The role focuses on building strong talent pipelines, identifying candidates for opportunities and ensuring we can respond quickly to emerging client needs.
Working closely with the leadership team, you will help develop a responsive and well-connected
talent network across the defence and national security sector across a broad range of skills and expertise.
Key responsibilities include;
- Supporting recruitment activity across the DNS business
- Building and maintaining a strong pipeline of defence and national security talent
- Proactively sourcing candidates for opportunities and proposals
- Working with DNS leadership to identify suitable candidates for upcoming work
- Engaging with external recruiters and sourcing partners where required
- Maintaining visibility of candidate availability, rates, skills and security clearances
- Contributing to the ongoing development of recruitment systems, processes and talent networks
About You
We are looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, identifying opportunities and
connecting great people with interesting work.
You may bring experience in recruitment within defence, national security, government or technical environments, although we are open to candidates from broader recruitment backgrounds who are interested in developing expertise in this sector.
Experience or familiarity with the following would be highly beneficial;
- Recruitment in defence, government, national security or MSP environments
- Understanding of AGSVA security clearance pathways
- Experience sourcing specialist or niche skillsets
- Use of sourcing platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter or talent CRM systems
Most importantly, you will be someone who is proactive, organised and enjoys engaging with people across the market to build strong talent networks.
