Description

Settlements Coordinator – Property Developments

Infinity Group Australia

📍 480 Church Street, Cremorne VIC | 💼 Full‑time | 💰 $80,000 + super | 🏡 1 WFH day post‑probation

This isn’t a traditional settlements role.

This is the role that keeps developments on track when timelines tighten, stakeholders push back, and a missed detail could derail an entire project.

At Infinity, the Settlements Coordinator sits at the centre of the settlement ecosystem — liaising with brokers, conveyancers, solicitors, developers and internal finance teams to ensure settlements progress smoothly, accurately and on time.

You don’t just follow up. You understand the mortgage process end‑to‑end, know what each stakeholder should be doing, and you’re comfortable challenging delays, gaps and assumptions to get settlements completed.

If settlement execution matters to you — this role exists because of that mindset.

About Infinity

Infinity Group is a high‑growth Australian financial services business that doesn’t operate like a bank.

We help everyday Australians pay off their home loans decades earlier and build long‑term wealth — and that promises only holds when lending and settlements are executed with precision.

Our development pipeline continues to scale, meaning settlement coordination now requires dedicated ownership, commercial awareness and strong stakeholder management.

The Role

Each Settlements Coordinator at Infinity is allocated entire property developments to manage.

You own the settlement pipeline from approximately 90 days out through to completion — tracking dates, managing risks, and keeping all parties accountable to their responsibilities.

This is a hands‑on, high‑volume role where your understanding of mortgage lending, contracts and settlement processes allows you to proactively prevent issues — not just react to them.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Acting as the central liaison between mortgage brokers, conveyancers, solicitors, developers and internal teams
  • Monitoring settlement pipelines and critical dates across multiple developments
  • Reviewing contracts, solicitor and conveyancer reports to identify risks early
  • Using your lending knowledge to challenge brokers on missing information, timelines and conditions
  • Ensuring finance files are prepared, progressed and lodged correctly
  • Managing valuations and liaising with valuers where required
  • Proactively escalating settlement or finance issues before deadlines are compromised
  • Providing clear settlement and finance status updates to external stakeholders
  • Reviewing high‑risk (“red alert”) files weekly to ensure actions are completed on time

Settlement deadlines are often immovable, so confidence, prioritisation and calm decision‑making are essential.

This Role Is Best Suited To Someone Who Has:

  • 2–3+ years’ experience in settlements, conveyancing, broker support or finance coordination
  • A strong working understanding of the mortgage lending process from approval through to settlement (essential)
  • Exposure to contracts, conveyancing and settlement documentation
  • The confidence to push brokers, solicitors and conveyancers on details and timelines
  • Experience managing volume and competing deadlines
  • Clear, professional communication with senior external stakeholders
  • A strong sense of ownership — you close loops and don’t watch the clock

A background in conveyancing or broker support is highly regarded.

Why Join Infinity?

  • Genuine ownership of outcomes — not task‑based admin
  • High‑trust environment where performance is visible and valued
  • Close collaboration with experienced lending and finance teams
  • Free access to Infinity education programs to create your own financial freedom
  • A culture built on pace, accountability and doing things properly

Giving back matters to us:

  • $250,000 raised at Christmas 2024 for the Kmart Wishing Tree Appeal
  • Over $1,000,000 raised at Christmas 2025 — with even bigger goals ahead
