The Role – What You’ll Do
You’ll join a passionate team dedicated to making real difference on the ground. Your key
responsibilities will include:
- Provide support within crisis and transitional accommodation settings, including tailored case management for families experiencing homelessness.
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of clients while increasing their knowledge, confidence, and resilience to reduce the likelihood of future crises.
- Support families in developing life skills that promote independence and long-term stability.
- Work collaboratively within local coordinated interagency responses to optimise client outcomes and ensure holistic service delivery.
What You Bring
- Relevant qualifications in Community Services, Social Work, or a related field.
- Experience working with families experiencing homelessness, crisis, or disadvantage.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex cases and work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Knowledge of local support services and community
networks (desirable).
