Watercart Operator -FIFO

Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Watercart Operator to join our mining operations on a temporary basis. This role is crucial for maintaining site safety and efficiency by ensuring the effective transportation of water across the site. As a Watercart and Moxy Operator, you will play a vital role in supporting our mining activities while adhering to strict safety protocols and operational standards.

This is a FIFO Casual role with various rosters 1/1 and 2/ based in the Pilbara,

Responsibilities:

• Operate watercart and Moxy vehicles to transport water to various locations on the mining site.
• Ensure the watercart is maintained in good working condition and report any mechanical issues.
• Monitor water levels and usage to optimise resource management.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols while operating machinery.
• Assist in the implementation of environmental management practices.
• Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to ensure efficient operations.

Qualifications:

• Valid Australian driver’s licence (HR or above preferred).
• Valid Moxy and Watercart tickets
• Experience operating watercarts or similar heavy machinery in a mining or construction environment.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and practices in the mining industry.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
• Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions.
