About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and proactive Warehouse
Operator (Picker, Packer & Driver) to join our Brisbane team.
This is a hands-on, dual-function role combining
warehouse operations with delivery execution. You will play a critical role in
ensuring orders are accurately prepared and delivered in a safe, timely, and
customer-focused manner.
This position directly supports operational efficiency,
service reliability, and product quality across the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations (Picking & Packing)
- Accurately
pick and pack customer orders using handheld scanners
- Ensure
correct product, quantity, and quality standards are met
- Apply
FIFO principles to maintain proper stock rotation
- Inspect
products for quality, expiry, and labelling compliance
- Maintain
clean, organised warehouse storage areas
- Report
stock discrepancies or damages proactively
- Follow
food safety and HACCP guidelines at all times
Delivery Operations
- Load,
verify, and deliver orders in accordance with dispatch documentation
- Ensure
full cold-chain compliance during transport (chilled/frozen goods)
- Execute
deliveries in line with routing schedules and time windows
- Provide
professional customer service at delivery points
- Obtain
proof of delivery (POD) and manage returns/refusals correctly
- Report
delays, issues, or incidents promptly
- Perform
daily vehicle safety checks and maintain vehicle condition
Key Requirements
- Valid
Australian Driver’s Licence (appropriate class)
- Clean
driving record
- Previous
experience in warehouse picking/packing and/or delivery driving
- Physically
fit (ability to lift up to 25kg)
- Strong
attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability
to work early morning shifts and in a fast-paced environment
- Basic
understanding of food safety (HACCP knowledge preferred)
