The Role:

Are you ready to make a real impact in people’s lives by helping them overcome their barriers? We’re seeking a proactive and resilient Employment Consultant to support participants with barriers to employment. This is a purpose-driven role where you’ll work with individuals to build capacity, increase engagement, and help them move toward sustainable employment outcomes. This role requires strong organisation, confidence in compliance requirements, and the ability to balance empathy with accountability. Whether you’re an experienced professional or looking to start your career in employment services, we want to hear from you!

You will:

  • Manage a caseload of participants with complex vocational and non-vocational barriers
  • Develop tailored strategies to improve engagement and work readiness
  • Coordinate referrals to appropriate services, including Allied Health and community providers
  • Provide post-placement support to help sustain employment outcomes
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, helping whenever necessary, and perform other relevant duties to support the team.

About you:

  • Are you friendly, positive, and professional in client and staff interactions?
  • Are you able to work as part of a team, have strong administrative and communication skills?
  • Do you have excellent written and verbal communication skills?
  • Are you excellent in organisational, time management and administration?
  • Are you proficient in MS Office including excel and word?
  • Do you have cultural awareness and sensitivity to diverse backgrounds?

Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible to work for us, you need to provide:

  • National Police Clearance (valid within the last 3 months)
  • A valid Australian Drivers Licence
  • A valid Working with Children’s Card (or ability to obtain)
